Loft Clearance Penge

This loft clearance project was completed in Penge and presented several significant challenges due to the difficult access conditions. The loft had extremely low headroom, numerous water and heating pipes running throughout the space, and a very low roof structure, making movement and waste removal particularly demanding.

The property owners, two sisters, contacted us following the passing of their father and required the loft to be fully cleared. A previous house clearance company had removed items from the main property but refused to undertake the loft clearance after one of their team members fell through the ceiling while carrying out an inspection. It quickly became clear that they lacked the experience and specialist skills required to work safely in such a restricted loft environment.

Using our extensive loft clearance experience, we carefully navigated the loft by moving across the structural joists where no flooring was present. Extra care was taken to avoid damaging the ceiling below while working around the pipework and confined spaces. Despite the challenging conditions, every accessible area of the loft was thoroughly cleared and all unwanted items were safely removed.

Once the project was completed, the loft was left completely empty, safe, and ready for future use, giving the family peace of mind during a difficult time.
